Hostile Work Environment

Hostile work Investigations are conducted in myriad ways depending, of course, on factors such as the time allotted for the investigation, the number and types of witnesses involved, the nature of the claim, and the scope of the investigation itself. An investigation of a shift supervisor of a mini market in a small town will be vastly different than an investigation involving a company President of a high-powered advertising firm in New York.

The conduct of the investigation will also depend highly on the Investigator specifically, his or her personality, experience, personal style and skill and knowledge of investigative techniques. Secura investigators are very personal and have the ability to quickly assess the players, locate a witness, establish rapport, and adjust to the varied emotions that emerge during an interview.

Our techniques for conducting an interview are as varied as the interviewers themselves. Secura investigators quickly establish a trust relationship, showing empathy. In special situations, there is a need to evoke an anger response. Our investigators will use a combination of all these methods to obtain the most complete information from a given witness.
Our in-house assessment include:
  • Critical assessment of loss results against identify trends and root causes.
  • Development of strategy and resource deployment.
  • Comparison of current execution against leading industry practices.
  • Customization of predictive loss indicator report utilizing all your loss data, such as cash shortages, discount and turnover percentages, and dishonest associate case closures. Weighted factors create a score for each unit and this benchmarking provides a monthly measurement of your program's impact.
  • Assessment of the overall effectiveness of LP-related programs, such as pre-employment screening, civil recovery, awareness and training.
  • Insight into savings opportunities and recommendations to best protect your assets within your budgetary constraints.
  • Identification of remediation strategies for areas that could lead to liability.
